Aws EC2 linux running rhel started throwing errors.
When I run
yum update -y
Error: Package: containerd.io-1.2.13-3.2.el7.x86_64 (docker-ce-stable)
Requires: container-selinux >= 2:2.74
Requires: container-selinux >= 2:2.74
Have tried few solutions from https://github.com/docker/for-linux/issues/21
sudo yum install -y amazon-linux-extras yum-utils device-mapper-persistent-data lvm2 sudo yum-config-manager --enable extras sudo amazon-linux-extras install docker
But it still thrown the error.
Here is the fix.
Note: During docker installation in 2018 it seems manually or automatically the docker repo list file was created here
cat /etc/yum.repos.d/docker-ce.repo
Now i have removed it with this
sudo rm docker-ce.repo
Now run
yum update -y
no errors
Then reinstalled the docker from scratch.
It started working
